I have had the thermomix® and since then I have not stopped using it, I only regret one thing … not having bought it before. The one with wonderful dishes that I have missed in these years. I really like French and Italian food so I will try to “steal” some other recipe from them to share it with you.
And to start … some cookies, which will not be the last since I love pastries and desserts. When I was in France, in Brittany, I liked everything but without hesitation what I remember best are those cookies with an intense butter flavor … ummm It makes my mouth water just remembering it. My challenge is to find the “Perfect cookie” and make it with our wonderful thermomix. I don’t want to find it soon … I just want to enjoy while I look for it … I hope you like these.
Chocolate chip cookies
Ingredients for 35-40 cookies:
150 grs. Brown sugar
150 grs. white sugar
125 grams butter (at room temperature, soft)
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
340 grams wheat flour
a pinch of salt
150 grs. of chocolate chips (I bought them in mercadona)
1.- Put the sugars and butter in the glass. Mix to speed 3 one minute until creamy. Add the eggs and mix 30 seconds speed 3.
2.-Put the flour, vanilla, and a pinch of salt. Mixture 2 minutes speed 4. Add the chocolate and mix for a few seconds at speed 1 or 2 until well incorporated.
3.- Preheat the oven to 180º. Shape into balls the size of a walnut and put them on a baking tray leaving about 5 cm. distance between them. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
Note: Although they do not brown much with this time they are already cooked, if we leave them longer they will be very hard
